The short answer

How can you train your staff in French in Bamako?

Bamacours, a language center based in Hamdallaye ACI 2000 since 2018, runs French training for companies and organisations in Mali. Each employee first takes a free placement test. You then choose one of two programmes: Operational French, a dedicated group of 6 to 10 people over 16 weeks (96 hours), from 2,400,000 FCFA excl. VAT per group (about €3,660); or Executive French, one-to-one coaching over 12 weeks (54 hours), at 375,000 FCFA excl. VAT per person (about €572).

HR receives individual test reports, monthly attendance sheets, a mid-term review, a final report and a Bamacours level certificate for each participant, based on the Common European Framework (CEFR). For a quote, message +223 85 03 85 03 on WhatsApp or email [email protected].

Our
pledge

If the agreed goal is not reached, we keep teaching

A participant who attended at least 90% of the sessions and completed at least 80% of the assignments, but did not reach the assessed goals, receives up to 12 hours of consolidation in a small group (Operational French) or four 90-minute sessions (Executive French). There are no refunds: the pledge is delivered in extra training.

Expected outcomes

What will your staff be able to do?

We set realistic goals. A beginner will not write a financial report after 96 hours, but will handle the simple situations of working life in Mali.

Target levelTraining hours from the previous levelWhat the employee can do at work
A196 h from scratch (one Operational French cycle)Introduce themselves, greet a client, follow simple instructions, give basic information, write a short message
A260 to 80 h moreHandle a phone call on a familiar topic, follow a simple meeting, write a routine email, explain a problem
B180 to 100 h moreTake part in a meeting, present a file, argue a point, write minutes
B2100 to 120 h moreNegotiate, chair a meeting, read a contract or report, write a reasoned memo

Indicative hours, based on CEFR guidance and our experience. Arabic and Chinese speakers often need a little more time on reading, writing and pronunciation at the start; English speakers usually progress faster thanks to shared vocabulary.

FAQ

Corporate French training in Bamako: your questions

How much does French training for a company cost in Bamako?

At Bamacours, a dedicated Operational French group of 6 to 10 employees costs from 2,400,000 FCFA excluding VAT for 96 hours over 16 weeks, which is 240,000 FCFA per participant for a group of 10. One-to-one Executive French costs 375,000 FCFA excluding VAT per person for 54 hours. Malian VAT of 18% is added.

Can complete beginners join?

Yes. Most groups start from zero. For beginners who speak English, the trainer explains in English at the start and moves to French step by step. The realistic goal for beginners is level A1 after 96 hours.

Can the training take place at our site or online?

Yes. Sessions run at our center in Hamdallaye ACI 2000, at your premises in Bamako or by video call, which suits remote mine sites and staff on rotation.

Do participants receive an official certificate?

Each participant receives a Bamacours level certificate based on the Common European Framework (CEFR). It is not an official exam result. For an official diploma, we prepare staff for the DELF, the TCF or the TEF, taken at an accredited center.

Can you answer a tender or a request for quotation?

Yes. We provide a technical and financial proposal with goals, method, schedule, trainer profiles, evaluation method, deliverables and a quote excluding and including VAT, within three working days after the placement tests.

How do we pay?

We invoice the company in FCFA, with VAT shown separately, and you pay by bank transfer. A payment schedule can follow your purchasing procedures.
